The first time I try out a challenge. Moments Recorded MR#12.

Details of Challenge :
  • Using at least 7 photos that you have taken from the same day you are to create a layout (any sizes) / mini album / frame work using no more then 3 pattern papers with the following :(doubled sided papers will be counted as 2 pattern papers)
  • office supplies (staple, paper clips, note pad papers etc)
  • add a date (it help us to remember when things happened)
  • journal what happen on that day (how is it possible that you have a date but no story?)
  • Hambly Overlays
  • 7 buttons and/or 7 flowers
  • tearing

A lot of firsts for me ....

  • first time doing a 2-page LO
  • first time doing with so many photos

LO - Work is Fun!

These photos were taken in 2006, but I've only managed to do the LO only now. I use a compass and scissor to cut the almost 12" circle as my new circle-cutter can only do 8". And the gold-colored stickle was fun .... dried rather fast too. I've tried mixing the colours for the heart stamp too... looks better when the boys were helping me during test-run.

LO - Little Baker Boy

Scrapping on old photos as I was eager to start scrapping and not waste time printing photos. We used to make muffins together and Ben actually did hold the mixer and sieve the flour.

The reason for this blog

This is to journal my scrapbooking Layouts (LOs).

This hobby has been exceptional to me. I first encountered it in 2006 but due to focus on the family, I set it aside.

Now, in Jun 2009, it's because of one son's music teacher that I got caught up in this. I started getting the kids to each make a 7"x7" LO and fixed into an Accordian Album for her. My son loves doing it. And now I've got an area setup (*finally*) and decided to keep Scrapbooking a simple hobby so as to substain this interest.

Enjoy.
